  1. I can’t remember where I heard about this, but I hear you can use dust to make indents on paper visable. You’d coat the paper in some sort of dust, wipe off the excess, & the dust left in the crevices would make the indents visable! Maybe that could make Roman’s letter readable…

  2. Ah, secret messages my sister and I’d send each other. We wrote heavily on a sheet of paper atop another and would swap the indented sheets. To decode our secret messages we used a regular No. 2 pencil, broadside of the tip to shade across the lines of indented words, to reveal the message. Generally works.

    1. Yup, tried the pencil thing, but again, too light a hand on the keyboard. Just not enough impression to contrast.
