Having had success with matte coated 160gs/m paper and the Epson EcoTank, I wondered if I could find similar finish vinyl inkjet printable sticker paper. Turns out I could! The EcoTank’s print looks great, and the print is waterproof! Since it’s a vinyl sticker, it can be applied to things and later easily removed without leaving residue. Personalized stickers and washi tape ahoy! :D
There’s a bear in mah trash! Lots of new wildlife here in New England, and it likes to dumpster dive.
That thar bar reminds me of when I lived in SW VA.
I liked the dumpsters better than those silly Herby Curbies we have here.
Pushed return (enter) too early….
Neat labels!
Wow! Blows my mind…vinyl home printed stickers! Sources?
And, thank you for your letter! Expect a reply, it was sent last week :)
Amazon, searched for “matte finish vinyl sticker paper inkjet printable” Packs in various counts from 20 to 50 sheets, around 20 cents a sheet.
Thanks! I’ll search for those locally.
Nice looking stickers – and the bear video with cats complaining in the background is excellent.
Oh, the void was rather upset we were paying attention to a creature that was not him 🤣
Awesome work on those stickers. I use this matte sticker paper with the kids in my art groups with paint markers and sharpies and they make awesome stickers with them. They really do hold up too. I’ve also run the inkjet paper through the work color photocopier and done some really killer stickers with it. Probably not recommended at most workplaces in case it gums up the machine.
Yeah, I was really surprised (and was not expecting) the waterproofness. Last time I printed on vinyl sticker paper was with an offset press in 1998 and oil-based inks (fastest/hardest drying). Utter nightmare – ink wouldn’t dry and I ended up doing an overprint varnish just to keep the ink from smearing. That experience put me off of vinyl as a base substrate for near 30 years. I shoulda known materials science would’ve advanced in that time. :D
