Typecasts In Exile: Now Coated in Catnip Oil!

This strange thing came in a recent airdrop from Girl 1, and illustrates how putting a picture of a cat doing something cute on packaging will extract impulse cash from certain cat people. A cat brushing its own teeth? That’s enough to compel our shopper to buy a card with 3 plain old sticks zip-tied to it (not 4, like the card says.) Now, aside from being unclear on whether these sticks are Raspberry or Silvervine, and not at all being coated in catnip oil, who the heck ever heard of a cat chewing a stick? At best you’ll get them to bat ’em around until they get lost under the couch, but never, ever will a cat chew a stick. In a cruel irony, one of our cats came to us needing half its teeth pulled anyway, so I dunno what she expected *him* to do with a stick.

  1. Here’s wishing you good fortune with this go around!

I like that Mickie D’s supplies you with typing paper along with nutritious meals!

  2. Thank you for a good laugh this morning. Please write a funny horror novel about a Man, Girl 1, and Girl 2 who buy a house in Stephen King country with a forbidden basement and suspicious rooms.

    1. hey – not a *horror* story, this story ends in rainbows & unicorns! I am still advocating for that house, though – may be low on the potentials list, but it has a lot I like. (:

  3. Hope everything works out.

  4. Wow, I’ve been following your journey with interest; I certainly hope this works out for you three. The house looks as if it has a fair amount of space and a good attic. Best wishes

    1. Yuh, walk-up attic, unfinished. Will be easy to finish and turn into work/storage space. As someone who has never had this sort of stand-up interior potential workspace, I am surprised and somewhat annoyed by how people up here just never bother to finish attics/basements and use them the way they should be. Just utter waste.
