Pressing the trigger on this fun little squirrel in action mode, full zoom from across the street.

Ooh, he found the baby apples fallen from the apple tree – Yum!

He readies himself to dash across the street.

Over to my side, where he finds a tree nut to gnaw on.

He scans the yard for threats…

and he dashes into the trees, poof!
Seven letters in my outgoing mail pile, I’ll be sending these when I get to the new house, with a change-of-address sticker attached. If you’re wondering why it’s taking me awhile to reply, that’s why. (:
In addition to a whole corral of Canon Powershots in my digicam collection, I do have a few non-Canon pocket point-n-shoots that I almost forgot about until I found this pic of them arranged on my desk from 2023:
2008 Nikon Coolpix S210
2011 Samsung TL205
2011 Kodak Easyshare M583
I completely forgot I had the Nikon – that was prolly a thrifted find in that “had a memory card I wanted and cost less than $5″ category. I’ve never used it because it came without a charger, however, I just cross-referenced the batteries and it looks like the Nikon will use the Kodak’s batteries, so I should be able to get that one going too now. The other two I have already tested as working, but never got around to using much.
The razor-thin Coolpixes are metal-shelled masters of the “Oughties Flash Raver” style of party photography and are super-popular with the Gen-Z crowd looking to get away from cellphone slavery since Covid. They seem to command prices on the ‘bay now that could buy you a decent used DSLR body. Craziness. Glad I got mine when people were practically throwing them away, and I think it’ll be fun to spend a month getting to know it well. :D
I’ve been enjoying your posts. But I noticed the Blogger automatic blog roll updates on both Polt’s blog and the Typosphere blog have not updated in over a week. It would be nice to have a more reliable website that feeds us updates from the Typosphere bloggers. Any ideas?
