So, I was just loading the new AntiX 23.2 on my old 2003 Toshiba Portege M200, and as usual I re-check the vitals of the machine to ensure the label is still correct, and what do I find under the RAM stick door??? Just goes to show that you can ignore reality, but you can never escape it. :P
Be careful or your laptop may turn orange….
Hope the new release of Anti-X is not as flakey as the latest release (25.3) of MX is. It’s not as bad as Ubuntu when Ubuntu was released with all the ‘newer’ improvements a few years ago. I forget which release, but it took a few releases until it was worked good on older machines again.
Well, so far I found the new Antix doesn’t pick up the touch screen drivers. That’s a change from the older version.

Now I’m worried. I just ordered a RAM upgrade for the old EliteBook. I’m now afraid I’ll pull the back off that machine and find a Larfleeze chip in there… :-O
