Your 1970s Easy-Writer is pretty nifty – it has an excellent (very large?) typeface for status reports.
yeah, I don’t haul this silly little plastic thing out very much, but every time I do, I’m kind of amazed that it’s not a completely terrible typing experience. I actually get the hang of its odd 3-bank keyboard pretty quickly. for a machine that’s basically plastic and piano wire, it has a certain charm. (BTW – it’s a basket-shifter!) Plus the typeface is pretty neat and it weighs maybe a pound and a half.
That types a lot better than I thought it might.
