An ebay find, 3 silk purple ribbons on metal spools, made in 1966 and still sealed. Yes, I opened one, yes I put it in a typewriter. It works, sort of.

Some interesting finds.
I bought 3 of those ribbons also a few weeks ago. One of them was dry and the rest ok. I will be restoring them with WD-40 or diluted castor oil.
