Got them keys finally, and proceeded to change the locks and unpack the first carload. Gonna be a few days before the next as there’s unforeseen plumbing issues that could require some extensive bathroom/kitchen downtime. This is gonna take awhile, apparently – so more hurry up and wait…

Back at Morningside, another tiny crime scene provided by friend cat. Two unalived this morning, quite grisly! 
Then there was this lanky, fuzzy fellow chillin’ on a post outside the storage place. They take Halloween decorations seriously in these parts. 
Ooooh! A typing porch! Lucky! I hope that the plumbing issues are resolved quickly, and you can settle into Casa Azul soon. Can’t wait to see your new set-up.
Love that porch. One thing I miss here is not having any porch.
