Liminal Stationery: From the Trophy Room of Theodore Munk

Still putting my life together, and a liminal life needs a liminal Stationery Series. Haven’t yet dug up my inkjet printer, my paper collection, my envelopes or my Rolodex, and so “Correspondence Series 1” has been on hold for pretty much a year now. I do have some stationery sent to me by Correspondent TC, but there’s some kind of psychic block I have when using stationery that isn’t unique and designed by MEMEME. I feel like I lose an opportunity to make a statement – to carry a theme. I managed to get one round of replies out of that stationery, but the thought of repeating Stationery for multiple letters to the same Correspondent was too paralytic to my flow.

And so, frustrated by the incoherence around me and unable to reply to letters because I’m a mental cripple that requires specific programming to carry out tasks, I have designed a new Series, as announced above. Also I bought the cheapest Epson EcoTank printer on Amazon, because I use a lotta ink, and it’s been annoying to toss multicolor ink cartridges just because one of the colors runs out. My first *new* printer since like 1997, probably. And I got a ream of plain copy paper because the Goodwills here don’t have much in the way of Office supplies. Damn, I already miss Deseret.

Anyway, later today I find out if this unlocks my typee-typee and if I can catch up on my reply backlog. Wish me luck! :D

POSTSCRIPT: It Worked! Just finished up my outgoing mail queue! :D

  1. Hey, you used my custom stamp! Soon as your next letter comes in, I’ll whip up a fresh batch with the CORRECT date on them. Loving the new design, shame I won’t get it (I’m on Correspondence #2). Can’t wait to hear from ya again!
