My, what a lucky catch! I guess it just depends on where you look, I’d sat they’re decently cheap in Colorado. Good luck finding one for $17, but my trusty Smith-Corona Sterling was bought for only $100 at a thrift shop near me! Without a doubt though, Your bound to get a good catch at an estate sale.
Oh, it’s been super-rare in the local thrifts. Especially Goodwills, as they usually send typewriters to the auction site. Two in one night? Insane! :D
Oh, I like that color! In the pictures it almost looks like it’s copper-colored.
Yeah, it’s a metallic bronze – Sears called this color “Tangiers Gold”. It’s unique to this model and the second variation of the “Cutlass”.
